Flo the Dandelion’s Tall Dreams

Chapter 1: The Dream

In a sunny meadow filled with vibrant flowers, there lived a small dandelion named Flo. With her bright yellow petals and slender green stem, she felt quite ordinary among the towering sunflowers and majestic oak trees. But deep down, Flo harboured a dream—she wanted to grow as tall as a tree. Every day, Flo watched the trees sway gently in the wind, their branches reaching high into the sky. “Oh, how I wish I could touch the clouds!” she sighed, her petals drooping slightly in longing. Her friend Benny the Butterfly fluttered by and perched on her head.

“Why do you want to be a tree, Flo?” he asked, his wings shimmering in the sunlight.
