Chapter 1: The Playground Shadows

The sun was shining brightly over Maplewood Primary School, where laughter and chatter filled the air. Children raced back and forth on the playground, their voices mingling with the sound of swings creaking and balls bouncing. But amidst the joy, a dark cloud loomed.

At the centre of the chaos was Lily, the school bully. With her sharp eyes and a sneer that could freeze water, she ruled the playground with an iron fist. No one dared to stand up to her, fearing her wrath. She picked on anyone who crossed her path, especially the quieter kids who seemed to blend into the background.
